The Orchard Trust Learning & Development Team has a wealth of knowledge and expertise .

The Orchard Trust Learning & Development Department has a well-deserved reputation for delivering high quality, engaging training that learners are able to effectively put into practice back in the workplace.  We offer this service to both our own staff and to external organisations, and we are proud to have worked on partnership projects with national bodies such as Skills for Care.

We take pride in our training and we are able to meet all your requirements, whether it be a single place on one of our open courses or bespoke programmes for staff groups - either at our purpose built training lodge in the Forest Of Dean, or at your own setting.  Our training covers many topics for those working in the Health and Social Care along with other sectors of business.  Courses include Leadership Skills courses with associated subject-specific workshops such as Appraisals, Supervisions, Handling Conflict.

Our training is always linked to the requirements of appropriate bodies (such as the Care Quality Commission) and we offer several fully accredited courses through awarding bodies such as City & Guilds (Medications), Qualsafe (First Aid), and Highfield (Food safety). Our Safeguarding Adults, MCA/DoLs and Dementia Awareness courses are all GCC Level 2 accredited courses and are facilitated by GCC authorised trainers.

Do please call 01594 860090 or email learninganddevelopment@orchard-trust.org.uk to speak to a member of our team and discuss how we may be able to help you. You can also make a booking request HERE

Owing to the Covid 19 virus situation we are cancelling our face to face training courses for April and May and will continually review this decision. These courses will be rearranged to future dates and meanwhile we are working hard to consider the possibility of offering some  webinar based training options in the interim. Please do contact us to find out more.
