Summer Fair 2018

Posted by on 7 August 2018

Sunshine, music and games! We had a fantastic day at our Summer Fair on 22 July. It was gloriously hot and we had great performances from the bands - Which Ones Gerry, Toby Hayward and Lydbrook Training Band.

There were plenty of entertainments for the children - Punch and Judy Show, Bouncy Castle, face painting, a treasure hunt, as well as the chance to get up close to our tame sheep and pygmy goats.

For the adults there was the raffle and tombola with plenty of good prizes, craft stalls, a cake stall laden with delicious home baking and the chance to sit in the sun enjoying a pint of beer from the bar.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone who came along and who donated prizes we raised a brilliant £2,700 which will make such a difference to our work. Thanks also go to all the volunteers who helped make the event such a success
