Team Leader Lydbrook 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Team Leader to support our service users in our residential home in Lydbrook

Responsibilities:

  • To adhere to Orchard Trust’s Policies and Procedures, CQC Essential Standards of Quality and Safety and the GSCC Code of Conduct
  • To keep up to date and accurate records, performing audits and reviews as required
  • To manage staff rotas, ensuring sufficient competent staff with the correct skills are available
  • To manage financial resources effectively and efficiently
  • To keep accurate financial records when dealing with service users’ finances and petty cash
  • In the absence of the manager/deputy manager to assume responsibility for the management of the services

Full time position - 37.5 hours

Enhanced DBS and references required for this position.

Team Leader Job Description

 

 

Accounts and Payroll Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts and Payroll Assistant to join our friendly team.  Working within a busy office your role will be to support the Finance Manager by undertaking the following tasks:

  • Assist with preparation and processing of monthly payroll as required

  • Assist with employee payroll queries

  • Work with managers ensuring relevant information is provided in a timely manner

  • Processing sales and purchase ledger

  • Supporting with customer and supplier enquiries

  • Preparing twice monthly payments runs

  • Assisting with the preparation of month end and Management Accounts

  • Actioning petty cash requests and reconciliations

  • Undertaking regular client finance audits

  • General filing and other administrative duties

 Essential Experiences/Skills:

  • High standard of formal education

  • Computer literate, preferably with knowledge of accounting systems

  • Sound knowledge of accounting processes

  • Working knowledge of payroll and auto enrollment pension systems

  • Experience of working within a busy accounts department

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • ACCA/AAT qualified or working towards

  • Previous experience using TAS accounts and Sage 50 Payroll

  • Experience in charity accounts

Attributes:

  • Good analytical and system interrogations skills

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Able to work in a team environment, work under pressure, meet deadlines and work independently as required

The role is for 37.5 hours a week working Monday to Friday, based in Lydbrook GL17 9PP.  Part-time hours would be considered.

Night Bank Support Worker - required at Sevenoaks in Coleford.  £7.83 per hour, in addition you will receive a payment of 95p per hour (equivalent to 12.07% of your hourly rate) as payment for holiday under the Working Time Regulations 1998.
