Our Homes

The Orchard Trust has developed its residential homes over a number of years, always ensuring quality provision and encouraging individuality in the home environment to reflect the needs and wishes of the people living there. The homes have committed and established staff groups who offer full support to people in their day to day living.

 

Our homes are based in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, an area of outstanding natural beauty between the River Severn and River Wye

Everyone living in our home's will have a staff member who will be their key worker. Their role will include monitoring care, health and daily living needs, contributing to the person centred plan and ensuring that contact is maintained and encouraged with family and friends.

All our homes have a number of vehicles, including tail lift wheelchair accessibility, which enables people to access the local community and their education and day care facilities.

The homes all conform to the National Minimum Standards set down by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and meet the requirements of all relevant national and local legislation.
